GREEN HILL FOOD CLOSET ANNUAL REPORT 2013
The Food Closet Committee would like to thank everyone for your support in 2013. We fed, with your help, 46 families and 153 individuals. Most of the referrals came from Family Services (21), and the First United Methodist Church (17). There were also requests from WalMart (2), DHR (2), HRDC (2) and the Episcopal Church. We also donated food to the Christian Mission, particularly items for their Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Our mission is to serve Coffee County residents who are in need and referred by agencies or church members. We appreciate all that the members of Green Hill do for this community outreach program. The Food Closet Committee members are Rosemary Carter, Betty Cully, Carol Lynch, Bobbie Miller, and Helen Sapp. If anyone is interested in volunteering with us, please contact one of these ladies.
Currently the Food Closet is in need of Peanut Butter, Jam/Jelly (small jars), Mustard, Mayo, Catsup (small).
GREEN HILL CAFÉ HOSTS NEEDED
Are you looking for an opportunity to serve? The Sunday morning Cafe Ministry needs you. Yes, it is a Ministry. This has developed into a wonderful time to gather and fellowship and has become so much a regular part of our Sunday morning. We need help to keep it going. Please see Kimberli Fougeron for more information.
