It’s nearly time for St. Patrick’s Day, and that means it’s also time for the City of Enterprise to host the 22nd Annual World’s Smallest St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

This year’s parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 15.  Promptly at Noon, the parade’s single marcher, Mark Doyle, will start off at the courthouse, walk down College Street to the Boll Weevil Monument (the world’s only monument to a pest), and then return to the courthouse.  Members of the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce will pass out treats to spectators on either side of the parade route.

After the parade, there will be a reception at the All about Art Studio on Main Street.  Butner’s Tavern on College Street will be open to serve green beverage specials.  Several other area businesses will also have specials running in their stores.

So, this Saturday, bring your family to Downtown Enterprise for some local fun.  Who knows, you might even end up on the National News!
