Several pastors from Enterprise shared prayers with a gathering at City Hall Thursday during the National Day of Prayer. Pastors touched on several subjects, including the military, families, the economy, agriculture and our political leaders.
Enterprise Mayor Kenneth Boswell said there was “not a day that goes by that I don’t call on the Good Lord for help.”
Boswell credited prayer for the success of the city. He asked everyone in attendance to remember in their prayers everyone that had been affected by the recent weather, as well as the soldiers and their families. Also, Boswell asked that a resolve come soon to the nearly 3,000 individuals affected by the recent strike and other matters involving goings on at Fort Rucker.
Boswell read a proclamation recognizing May 1 as Citywide Day of Prayer.
