TBT: Bone Marrow Registry Drive

Today’s Throw Back Thursday picture is a very special one.  It shows our dear Amanda McMillan at a Bone Marrow Registry Drive in January 2013.  On that day, Green Hill partnered with Be the Match to sign up potential bone marrow donors and to collect donations to cover the cost of registrations.  We served lunch, held a bake sale, and had a whole lot of fun.  Sadly, Amanda passed before she could receive her transplant.  She will be dearly missed.

If you are eligible to be a bone marrow donor, please consider signing up for the bone marrow registry.  A simple cheek swab is all it takes to find out if you can save a life.  To learn more, please click HERE.

EVERYONE can help. Even if you can’t sign up to be a potential bone marrow donor, even if you can’t give money, you can still help by spreading the word, and you can help by praying for those in need.
