Green Hill Presbyterian Church

Weekly Announcements, 5/28

If you get a printed version of the church newsletter, don’t forget to pick up your June/July copy in the Fellowship Hall.  It contains a lot more information than is available in the online version.

A brief healing service has been included in this Sunday’s order of worship. This is a service that occurs whenever there is a 5th Sunday in a month. Following the Pastor’s sermon, those who are in need of spiritual and/or physical healing for themselves and/or someone else, are invited to come to the front of the church to be anointed with oil and prayed over by the Pastor and Elder Assistant.

Last Sunday was Pentecost Sunday. On that day we took up a special offering to benefit at-risk children, youth, and young adults. If you feel called to give to this mission of the church there is still time. Please use one of the red envelopes in the pew racks. Forty percent of the offering collected at Green Hill will stay at Green Hill, to be used by our congregation, in our community.

There is still time for children to register for this year’s Vacation Bible School. Be sure to let your family, friends, and neighbors know! There are registration forms available on the table in the narthex, and there is an online registration form on the church website. We are going to learn about God and his promises for us as we rock out to the Go Fish Guys. It is going to be a lot of fun!
