COTTON PATCH GOSPEL, SUNDAY EVENING
Please join us Sunday, at 5:30pm, for a special showing of Cotton Patch Gospel. This is a fun show that tells the “Greatest Story Ever Told” set to bluegrass music. Tom Key does an excellent job of depicting many Gospel characters. Jesus is born in Gainesville, GA. and he and his band of followers end up going to the “Convention” in Atlanta. The music was written by Harry Chapin right before his death. You will want to share this with your friends.
SOUP LUNCHEON, OCTOBER 18
All are invited to attend a Soup Luncheon on Sunday, October 18, immediately following the morning worship service. If you’re looking to learn more about Green Hill, this luncheon and time of informal fellowship is a great place to start. If you’re already part of the Green Hill family, either officially or just in spirit, please join us for this meal. If you’re just looking for something to eat after church, we want you to come too! Relax and enjoy fellowship over a great lunch!
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING & VOTE
On Sunday, October 25, immediately following the morning worship service, the congregation will meet for a very important vote. We will decide whether to remain in the PCUSA or to move to another Reformed denomination. It is very important that every member of the congregation attend this meeting as this will be the final vote on this issue. Absentee ballots will not be permitted. Active Elders of the Session may share their views prior to the vote. The meeting and vote will be moderated by members of our Presbytery.
