Congregational Meeting & Vote, October 25

There will be a called congregational meeting on Sunday, 25 October 2015 immediately following the morning worship service. The purpose of the meeting will be to vote on the following motion: That the members of Green Hill Presbyterian Church be dismissed from the PC (USA) to another Reformed denomination.

Prior to the final vote, active elders on the session that so desire will present their views to the congregation. The congregation will then vote their guidance for the session, so that IF and only IF the final vote is to leave the denomination, it will be known to which denomination (ECO or EPC) Green Hill will be dismissed. After that, the formal vote on the motion above to dismiss will be taken.

A minimum of 50% of the members of the congregation must be present in order to have a quorum. Only active members of the congregation may vote. Voting will be by secret ballot. Members must be present in order to vote. Our Presbytery will moderate the meeting and the voting.
