Announcements Clip Art

WinShape Camp starts on Monday! The folks from WinShape will take over Enterprise High School from July 18 to July 22 and it is going to be the Best Week Ever! Four of your Green Hill Youth are returning to camp this year. At WinShape they will get to experience sports, recreation, arts, Bible study, worship, and more, all packed into one week! WinShape holding a camp in Enterprise is a great blessing to our town. Please pray for the camp staff, the campers, and everyone involved.

We’re getting ready for the 2016-2017 Youth Bible Study classes, and we are looking for some volunteers to help out. We need people to pick children up at school, to bring snacks and drinks, to help during Bible Study, and to fill in as substitutes when the regular teachers can’t be there. If you’d like to help, you can put your name on the sign-up board in the narthex, or you can contact April Seery directly. Thank you to all of our volunteers!

The deadline for submissions to the August Green Hill Good News is Thursday, July 21. You can contact the office by email or by phone, or you can drop your news off in the basket on the door. Each month the church office does its best to get the newsletter printed and distributed by the last Sunday of the month. Early submissions are appreciated.

The Prayer Band at Green Hill is made up of church members who have answered God’s call to “pray without ceasing.” The members of the Prayer Band receive prayer requests from members and from friends of our church, and offer up prayers to the Lord on their behalf.

If there is a person or a situation you would like the Prayer Band to keep in prayer, please let us know. You may contact the church office to have a name added to the prayer list, or if immediate prayer is needed, contact one of the Prayer Band members directly. From 9am to 6pm, call Ida Aldrich. From 6pm to 9pm, call Gloria Webb.
