AUGUST GREEN HILL GOOD NEWS

The August newsletter is ready. If you receive a printed copy of the newsletter, please pick it up in the Fellowship Hall. Visitors, are welcome to take a copy.

PLEASE WELCOME SUNDAY’S GUEST MINISTER

Please welcome Chaplain Bryan Simoneaux.  Bryan is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He served churches for 10 years in the civilian world before Uncle Sam graciously invited him to spend the next 22 years serving our men and women in uniform. He retired in February of 2011 and the Lord called Him to pastor Cool Springs Baptist Church in Enterprise in July of 2011 and simultaneously began to work with First Choice Hospice in Elba as their Chaplain. He resigned Cool Springs in July 2016 but continues to work with Hospice.

I’ve done and seen a lot but without question my greatest accomplishment is marrying Sandy (occasionally, I still have to pinch myself). We have 2 boys and 4 grandchildren. I consider myself God’s slave and servant and plan to remain so until I draw my last breath.

What a great opportunity to serve the Lord with Green Hill this morning and share His marvelous and life-changing Word with you. Somebody said, “If we meet and you forget me, you haven’t lost anything; But, if you meet God and forget Him, you’ve lost everything.” I believe God sent me here today to deliver a message, from Him, to you. Open your heart and receive His Word and let Him change you from the inside out.

GOSPEL SOUNDS TRIO

The Gospel Sounds Trio is coming to Enterprise! On August 14 they will sing at Bethel Baptist Church at 10am and then they will be at Green Hill at 11am to sing with us during our service. The trio is made up of three ladies, Nancy, Peggy, and our very own Sandy! The Trio started singing together at Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Sandy’s two friends are traveling all of the way from Tennessee to visit Enterprise. Everyone, please make plans to be at church to hear them!
