Last week Girl Scouts from all over Southern Alabama traveled to the State House in Montgomery to participate in Girl Scout Advocacy Day. More than 60 girls watched meetings of the Senate and of the House. They also delivered cookies to Senators and Representatives. Our Green Hill Girl Scouts got a chance to meet with Rep. Barry Moore and even exchanged a SWAPS (Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere) with Treasurer Young Boozer. Way to go Girl Scouts!
