Due to the threat of severe weather from Hurricane Irma and the potential impacts for our area, the City of Enterprise will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. All essential personnel and first responders will be available in the event they are needed. Mayor Cooper, EMA officials, and city officials have all been monitoring the storm and are taking this storm very serious and taking every precaution to make sure that all citizens are safe. For shelter information, please contact the Wiregrass Area United Way’s 2-1-1 service. On your phone, simply dial 211. Once winds are sustained around 40 mph, first responders might not be available to respond until the winds settle. Residents are asked that as the winds calm, to stay off the roads and stay indoors to let first responders and crews clear the roads. Please pay attention to local media outlets for more information.
