CONGREGATIONAL MEETING DECEMBER 31

The annual Congregational Meeting for 2017 will be held on Sunday, December 31, immediately following the morning worship service. All Green Hill members are asked to attend. The purpose of this meeting is to elect two Elders to the Session.

NEWSLETTER DEADLINE

Information for the January Green Hill Good Newsletter needs to be submitted to the church office by Monday, December 18. This early deadline is necessary so we can get the newsletter complete for Christmas. Many thanks to those who contribute!

CHRISTMAS JOY OFFERING

The purple Christmas Joy Offering envelopes are in the pew racks for anyone who feels called to make a contribution to this fund. Donations will be used to support retired ministers and their families and for racial and ethnic religious programs at colleges.

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIAS

If you are going place a poinsettia in the Sanctuary for Christmas, Monday, December 18, is the last day to let the church office know. Please fill out one of the red slips from the pew racks and drop it in the offering plate or in the basket on the office door. The names of everyone being honored/remembered will be printed in the Christmas Eve bulletin.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESBYTERIAN LAY COMMITTEE

“After considering how we speak the Truth of God’s Word into a confused culture, the board of the Presbyterian Lay Committee announces the renaming and reorganizing of the ministry as Reformation Press, a media ministry impressing the mind of Christ into the culture by informing and equipping Christians to speak the mind of Christ on matters of the day.  In the coming weeks, the ministry of Layman.org will be discontinued. Further announcements about Reformation Press and The Reconnect radio program will be forthcoming as we reorganize and relaunch in 2018.”
