CONGREGATIONAL MEETING DECEMBER 31

The annual Congregational Meeting for 2017 will be held on Sunday, immediately following the morning worship service. All Green Hill members are asked to attend. The purpose of this meeting is to elect two new Elders to the Session and one new Trustee for the church.

ELDER TRAINING AND INSTALLATION

Pastor Tim will hold Elder Training on Saturday, January 6, at 9:00am. The new Elders will be officially installed at the morning worship service on January 7.

ACOLYTE TRAINING

On Sunday, January 7, all youth are asked to meet with Pastor Tim at 10:30am for Acolyte Training. Those who have been lighting candles for years, and those who are brand new, are all asked to attend. The kids will get a chance to review what to do as an Acolyte and to learn why Acolytes do what they do.

CHRISTMAS JOY OFFERING

Sunday is the final day to make contributions to the Christmas Joy offering. This offering is an opportunity for joyful giving and support to those who have faithfully served the church and for those schools that they support. Look for the purple special offering envelopes in your pew racks.

PRAYER LIST NAMES

Please note that on the first Sunday in January, the church office will start off the New Year with a new prayer list. We are going to remove everyone and start fresh. If you know of someone who should remain on the list, or of someone who needs to be added to the list, please contact the church office. Thank you.
