If you are going to place a lily in the sanctuary for Easter, please let the church office know by March 28. The names of those being remembered and/or honored will be printed in the bulletin on Easter Sunday. Please use the yellow slips from the pew racks.
ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING
Since 1949 Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through One Great Hour of Sharing to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world. Your generous gifts to this Special Offering help provide relief for those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and assist in helping to empower the poor and oppressed. If you feel called to give, please use one of the special blue envelopes from the pew racks.
MAUNDY THURSDAY COMMUNION
On Thursday, March 29, we will hold a Maundy Thursday Communion service and share in the final supper Jesus shared with his disciples.
GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE
On Friday, March 30, we will hold a Good Friday Service at Noon. This will be a brief service in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death on Calvary
EASTER WORSHIP SERVICE
On Sunday, April 1, our Easter Worship & Communion service will be held at 11:00am. As we all know, this is the time of the year when those who don’t normally go to church on Sunday make the extra effort to come for Easter. This is a wonderful day to invite your unchurched friends. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for any visitors we might have. Green Hill is known for being a close and friendly family church. Let’s do our best to show that off!
