WINSHAPE CAMP 2018
Next week, four of our Green Hill youth will attend WinShape Camp here in Enterprise. This year’s theme is “The Shepherd” and the theme verse is Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Please pray for our kids as well as for the 500+ youth who will also be attending camp. For many of them this may be the only time of the year that they get to really study God’s message.
THE SHEPHERD: HE IS MINE
LIFE CAN BE OVERWHELMING
“There are global issues such as wars, and natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes. Then, there are the closer-to-home issues that can feel just as earth-shaking: bullying, divorce, insecurity, the pressure to perform. Whatever the cause, it seems fear and anxiety will shake our worlds at some point in our lives.
In the middle of global and personal chaos, trouble, uncertainty and stress, we often feel alone or like we just need to stop and catch a breath; we need to find some stability or security, guidance or protection. What we really need is…the Shepherd.
Not just a shepherd, The Shepherd. Psalm 23 says, ‘The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.’
No matter what goes on in the world, or in our lives, we can trust the Lord, The Shepherd. He loves. He guides. He protects. He comforts. He provides an amazing future. He is good. He is mine. He can be yours.”
