I loving memory of Betty Preston, mother of Elder Jim McDonough.
Betty Jean Preston (Betty Boop), 78, of Duluth passed away Wednesday, August 8th 2018 of lung cancer. She was a Claims Agent at St. Paul Comp, an over the road truck driver, a realtor for East West, and was a member of ABWA (American Business Women Association). Betty loved her family, people and Chinese food. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, collecting anything Betty Boop and Iris’s.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Lucille Grunewald; sister Bonnie Broker; one grandson and one great grandson. Betty is survived by her husband John W. Preston; four children, Chuck, Joanne (Roy), James (Aimee) and John Paul; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.
