HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
This Sunday is Father’s Day, a special day to honor not only fathers, but also father-figures and influential men in our lives. Fatherhood isn’t defined by biology. It is defined by commitment. In our church family we are blessed with so many wonderful fathers. Let’s praise God for placing these honorable, kind, gentle souls in our paths for His loving light to shine through, providing us with a beautiful example of what it means to live for God.
This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, Who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:23-24)
BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER: WIREGRASS EMERGENCY PREGNANCY SERVICES
Did you take a baby bottle home to fill with change? This Sunday is the day to turn it in. If you can’t bring it in this Sunday, don’t worry. Bottles filled with change (or dollar bills, or checks) can be dropped off at the church office any day next week. Sandi will make sure they all make it over to Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Services. Your support will help provide free testing, guidance, education, and material support for the mothers who are most in need.
