VETERANS SUNDAY
On Sunday, November 10, during the morning Worship Service, we will take time to honor all of our area’s Veterans. Everyone is invited to attend this very special service. Beginning at 10:30am we will have coffee and light breakfast foods in the Fellowship Hall. In the Sanctuary, prior to the service, we will have a slideshow of photos of many of our local veterans, especially those who are members of our congregation. The service will begin at 11:00am with a flag ceremony led by our Girl Scouts. During the service we will get a chance to sing some of the most patriotic hymns in our book, and we will thank God for those who have served our country. At Noon there will be cake and refreshments so everyone can take time to visit. Then, at the fire pit on the hill, Scouts from BSA Troop 150 will hold a flag retirement ceremony.
