THANKSGIVING DINNER
The annual Green Hill Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Sunday, November 24, at 5:00pm. This year the church will provide the meat and everyone attending is asked to bring either a salad, a vegetable, or a dessert. Please indicate how many in your family will be attending and what food you will bring. Reservations slips can be found on the back of each pew and dropped in the offering plate. We have so much to be thankful for, and we look forward to fellowshipping with everyone over a family meal.
STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY
The church’s annual Stewardship Sunday is next week. At this time, we ask each member, each family, and all our regular worshipers, to prayerfully examine their resources and to pledge a portion to God’s work. On Stewardship Sunday, November 17, a special collection of the pledge cards will be held during the morning service. The cards may also be returned by mail to the church office. These pledges help the church plan our budget for the coming year. (Extra blank cards will be available on Sunday morning.)
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
If you took a shoebox home to fill for Operation Christmas Child please return it to the church no later than Sunday, November 17. The boxes will be gathered up and taken to the drop off location on Monday.
Green Hill Presbyterian Church
