We are going back to school!
August is the usual month for the kids to go back to school, although whether they do so or not is somewhat problematic at this writing. Stay tuned!
But WE are going back to school; that is those of us who care about our Nation’s Constitution and want to know more about it. Our newest members of Green Hill, Pat and Sheridan Smith are arranging for those who sign up to join them in a Zoom online conference that will be taught by a Constitutional expert. The class will begin on Tuesday, August 4th and run for 6 weeks of successive Tuesdays until September 8th. There is a flyer and sign-up sheet in the Fellowship Hall for more details.

GREEN HILL POLLINATOR GARDEN
Kendall D. is ready to take on the final step of earning her Girl Scout Gold Award, and her plan is to build a pollinator garden on the front lawn of Green Hill. She wants to turn the rocky circle down by the digital sign into an area that will not only support our local bee and butterfly population, but will also serve as a beautiful focal point. Kendall has already received approval from the Green Hill Session for her project. In September she will go before the Girl Scout Gold Award Committee in Montgomery to defend her plan and receive final approval to use it for her Gold Award. Planting should begin once the weather turns cooler.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
Enterprise City Schools are going back to class on Thursday, August 6. Students have the option of going back to the traditional classroom setting or going to school online, for at least the first 9 weeks. Please pray that all of our students, teachers, and their families, stay safe through this process. Going to school with the current COVID pandemic is going to be a difficult transition for many.
ONLINE CONSTITUTION CLASS
Pat and Sheridan S. will be hosting an online class on the US Constitution beginning Tuesday, August 4. The class will run for 6 weeks, ending on September 8. The classes will be held online, using Zoom, so you can participate from the comfort of your own home. See the flyer in the Fellowship Hall for more details.
