BABY BOTTLE BOOMERANG
The annual “Baby Bottle Boomerang” fundraiser usually held by the Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Services (WEPS) between Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day each year wasn’t able to happen because of COVID-19. So, they are holding the fundraiser now instead. Just like before, you can pick up a baby bottle on the table in the Fellowship Hall. Over the next couple of months, drop any loose change you have in your pockets at the end of each day into the bottle. Then, on October 18, bring the bottles back to the church. We will make sure the bottles get back to WEPS.
TAKE THE MATTHEW 25 CHALLENGE
Our congregation has accepted the PC(USA)’s invitation to follow Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 25:31–46 by becoming active disciples and making a difference in our community and the world. You can learn more about the Matthew 25 Project on the bulletin board in the Narthex. When you check out the bulletin board, be sure to grab one of the “Matthew 25 Challenge” flyers at the bottom of the board. This challenge invites you to experience God’s Word by spending one week “living sacrificially” with a different task each day.
