DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS SOON
Don’t forget to change your clocks before you go to bed on the night of October 31. Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday November 1, and we all get back that extra hour we gave up in the Spring. We look forward to seeing you at church on Sunday morning, at the correct time.
NOMINATING ELDERS AND TRUSTEES
All members of Green Hill are asked to attend our next scheduled Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 29. At this meeting we will vote to elect new Elders to the Session as well vote on new Church Trustees. We are looking for any additional congregational members who want to volunteer to serve on the Nominating Committee to assist the chair, Ruth Oliver, and Elder David Carter in finding Elders and Trustees to serve.
STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY
The church’s annual Stewardship Sunday has been scheduled for Sunday, November 15. On that day, during the morning worship service, we will hold a special collection of pledge cards. These pledges help the church plan the budget for the coming year. Pledge cards can also be returned directly to the church office. Blank pledge cards are going out to all church members in the mail.
