LIGHTING THE ADVENT CANDLES
This Sunday we will light the 4th candle in the Advent Wreath, the Candle of Love, which is sometimes called the Angel’s Candle. The angels announced the good news of a Savior. God sent his only Son to earth to save us, because he loves us!
NO CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
Out of an abundance of caution, we will NOT hold our traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service this year. We have been fortunate to have been able to spread out in the Sanctuary and hold our Sunday worship services in a socially-distanced and safe manner. Unfortunately we can’t do the same for our Christmas Eve service, which us usually attended by many friends and extended families. On the Sunday following Christmas we will light the Christ Candle on the Advent Wreath in the Sanctuary to recognize the birth of Christ, our Savior. So please be sure to join us on December 27 as we come together to celebrate Christmas with our church family.
