HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This has been a crazy year, and we’ve almost made it through! “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28) We don’t know what God’s plan is for 2021, but we will continue in our mission to faithfully serve God and to proclaim the Gospel.
SEASONS OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH
The secular world around you may tell you that Christmas is over, but we Christians know that we are still in the middle of the Christmas Season. This time, known as the Twelve Days of Christmas, will officially end as we enter the Season after Epiphany, January 6.
COMMUNION & ELDER INSTALLATION
We will break with tradition for our first Communion Service of the New Year. Instead of offering Communion on the first Sunday of the month, the first Communion of 2021 will be held on January 10.
On January 10 we will also ordain and install our three new Elders. The first Session meeting of the year will be held that afternoon.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MIDGE FARNUM!
Last week we were able to pull off a sneaky surprise birthday party for Midge, and it was amazing! Linda and Janet would like to thank everyone for coming together to make Midge’s 99th birthday extra special. She was totally surprised and she had a wonderful time.
