Iluminada H. Worley of Enterprise passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. She was 98.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Sorrells Funeral Home with Reverend David Jamison officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. This service will be live-streamed on the Sorrells Funeral Home Facebook page.
Iluminada was born November 29, 1922 in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba to the late Delfin and Severa Herrera. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over 65 years, R. Paul Worley; brothers, Juanito Herrera, Avelino Herrera, René Herrera and Victor Herrera. She was voted Woman of the Year by the Enterprise Pilot Club, was a Master Gardener, a member of the Oscar Club, a former member of the Lions Club, the Rose Club and the Garden Club; Iluminada was a social butterfly that never met a stranger.
Survivors include her children, Raymond Worley (Sarah) of Mesa, AZ, Kathy Worley of Tallahassee, FL, and Wade Worley of Enterprise, AL; sister, Irene Cole of Huntsville, AL; grandchild, Tina Marie Worley; and several nieces and nephews.
