BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA SUNDAY

This Sunday, February 21, Green Hill will recognize Boy Scouts of America Sunday, commonly referred to as Scout Sunday. It is a day when Troops, Crews, and Packs honor a BSA Scout’s “duty to God” and when they give back to the chartered organizations that give them so much.

Green Hill is the Chartered Organization for the following Boy Scouts of America units:

• Scouts BSA Troop 150B (boy troop)
• Scouts BSA Troop 150G (girl troop)
• Venturing Crew 150
• Cub Scout Pack 150

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) was founded on February 8, 1910, and recently celebrated its 111th birthday.

As the Boy Scouts of America celebrates its anniversary, we salute the splendid volunteers who serve as Cubmasters, Scoutmasters, Venturing Advisors, and in other positions of leadership.

Unfortunately, due to COVID, we will not have our usual cake and punch following the service. We hope to see everyone for BSA Sunday next year when we can all have TWO slices of cake.

GIRL SCOUTS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA SUNDAY

Girl Scout Sunday, for girls who are members of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA), will be recognized next month, on March 21.
