Congratulations to Kendall on earning the Girl Scout Gold Award! Kendall is a member of Green Hill Presbyterian Church in Enterprise. The Girl Scout Gold Award, which is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn, represents the culmination of over 80 hours of work on a project that is important to each girl. Kendall’s project, named the Gold Garden Project, was an education plan to teach others about the importance of supporting pollinator populations. The centerpiece of her project was a beautiful pollinator garden on the front lawn of Green Hill. Earning the Girl Scout Gold Award is equivalent to earning the BSA rank of Eagle Scout. Kendall officially received her Girl Scout Gold Award pin on Sunday, December 5. The pin was presented by Karlyn Edmonds, the Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama.
