FELLOWSHIP LUNCH, MARCH 6

Immediately following this Sunday’s worship service, all members of Green Hill are invited to a lunch in the fellowship hall. The Johnson family is hosting this lunch as a thank you to everyone at Green Hill for all of the support over the past year. The relocation from Florida to Alabama was rough, but now the Johnsons are finally settled in a new apartment. So, please stay after church for some good food and fellowship.

GUEST SPEAKER: DOUG MARSHALL

Doug Marshall is the President and CEO of Presbyterian Home for Children located in Talladega, now in its 154th year of serving at-risk and homeless children from across Alabama. In a state with so many homeless children who have been displaced in life, he is now dedicating his life and heart to leading the Home’s efforts to helping put both homeless children and their mothers as well as young female adults on a path of hope, along with providing a residential therapeutic treatment program for teenage girls who have experienced severe trauma and/or neglect. He is expanding the Home’s impact to families in crisis through family preservation and reunification services in seven counties and directing the Home’s mission outreach of live and mentoring to children and youth in both Wilcox and Marengo counties located in a very rural farming region of the State known for much poverty.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME BEGINS MARCH 13

Don’t forget to change your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday night, March 12. On Sunday morning, March 13, Daylight Saving Time begins, and we will lose an hour. We look forward to seeing you at church on Sunday morning, at the correct time.
